ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last Updated: December 9, 2025

The Global Artist Immersion Program, operated by The MusicSquared Foundation under The NYPAA, is committed to ensuring that our website and Program are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities.

We believe every visitor should have equal access to information, services, and opportunities, and we strive to support an inclusive environment for both online users and Program participants.

1. OUR COMMITMENT

We aim to follow best practices for web accessibility and to support the needs of individuals with diverse abilities. Our goal is to ensure that visitors can navigate, understand, and interact with the Site www.globalartists.nyc regardless of ability or technology.

Our efforts are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Levels A and AA, as recognized standards for accessible design.

2. WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

We strive to ensure the Site includes:

  • Text alternatives for non-text content

  • Logical and consistent navigation

  • Sufficient color contrast

  • Headings and structure that support screen readers

  • Keyboard navigability where possible

  • Clear labels for forms and inputs

We regularly review content added through Elementor and other tools to maintain general accessibility.

3. ACCOMMODATIONS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

The Global Artist Immersion Program welcomes participants with disabilities and will make reasonable efforts to provide accommodations for:

  • Workshop participation

  • Housing (where included)

  • Cultural excursions

  • Communication needs

  • Mobility or physical access needs

Requests for accommodations can be made directly to our team. While some venues or third-party excursion sites may have their own accessibility limitations, we will assist participants in identifying options and planning accordingly.

4. ONGOING EFFORTS

Accessibility is an ongoing effort.
We periodically review:

  • Website updates

  • Third-party integrations

  • New content or features

  • Feedback from visitors

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may still need improvement. We welcome input to help us enhance your experience.

5. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

Despite our best efforts, you may encounter:

  • Third-party platform features that may not fully meet WCAG guidelines

  • Media or documents not yet fully optimized for accessibility

  • Occasional formatting inconsistencies when viewed with assistive technologies

If you encounter any accessibility issues, please let us know so we can address them promptly.
